Illustrious Glenn R. Perry was born on July 1, 1956 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and is the son of Davina D. Perry
and the late Noble George R. Perry. His family moved to Clifton Forge in 1958 where he was raised. He is married
to the former Cindy Coffman and they have a son and daughter-in-law, Keenan and Carrie Entsminger, and a
daughter and son-in-law Kara and Brandon Caldwell. They reside in Clifton Forge, Virginia and attend the Clifton
Forge Baptist Church.
Glenn graduated from Clifton Forge High School in 1974 and Dabney S. Lancaster Community College in 1977
with a degree in nursing. He is the CEO of Farrar's Inc., which includes Mountain Regional Hospice and Regional
Home Care, and The Club Car Shop and Deli.
Glenn was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason on March 18, 1985, in Clifton Forge Lodge #166 and is a
chartered life member and Trustee. He served as Worshipful Master in 1992 and District Deputy Grand Master of
the 23rd Masonic District in 1998 with MW and Ill. Albert H. Tignor, Jr. He is a member of Alleghany Royal Arch
Chapter #24, and the Roanoke Scottish Rite Bodies. In June of 2007, he was invested with the Honorary Demolay
Legion of Honor.
He was created a Noble of Kazim Temple in 1985. He is a member of Kazim Car Unit, where he served as its first
President and is currently the Secretary and Treasurer. He is a Past President of the Clifton Forge Shrine Club, and
is currently the Secretary and Treasurer, and belongs to the Hot Springs Shrine Club, Roanoke Valley Shrine Club
and Lynchburg Shrine Club. He is a chartered member of Texohtic Cuemitl, Teocalli No. 801, Order of Quetzalcoatl,
and Roanoke Court No. 59, Royal Order of Jesters, where he is serving as Leading Man.
Glenn was appointed to the Divan as Outer Guard in 1998 by Illustrious James R. Eller, and was elected as Oriental
Guide in 2004.
